Simba - 2009 Hanoverian gelding by Stedinger and out of Hofdame (Hohenstein x Leibniz).
Simba was the 2010 National and Zone 3 USEF / PHR Silver Stirrup Champion for Dressage Sporthorse Breeding (all ages 3 and under).
Simba has three very good gaits and is a future
dressage star. During 2010, Simba showed successfully in Dressage Sport
Horse Breeding classes, with consistent top placings at every show
attended, including Morven Park, Fair Hill, Stone Tavern, and Dressage
at Devon. Judges' comments praise his movement, elegance, type, correct
conformation, and quick and active hind leg.
Simba is very flashy and has a
look at me presence and charming character that win over everyone he
meets. He is proven in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes and is an
excellent candidate for the FEI Young Horse division later.
Simba's
dam, by Hohenstein, was purchased at the Hanoverian Elite Auction in
Verden, Germany and was imported to be a competition horse and a
foundation broodmare for Roseknoll. Her highly desirable bloodlines are
known to consistently produce typiness, outstanding movement, superior
rideability and temperament, and exceptional talent for collected work.
Stedinger,
Simba's sire, was the unequivocal approval winner of the 2002 Oldenburg
Stallion Days, where he displayed both his outstanding movement and
superb jumping abilities and form. Stedinger is the sire of renowned
young sons including Statesman, who in 2008 sold at the Oldenburg Elite
Auction for the unprecedented price of e400,000 Euros.
Simba
loves people and has excellent ground manners. He is a perfect gentleman
to work with: he leads, loads, stands quietly for the farrier and vet
and to be clipped and bathed.
SOLD - Congratulations to Ms. Karen Parkey and Maidstone Farm of Carnation, Washington on the purchase of this fantastic youngster!
